Jim was born and raised in Tampa, Fl.  He has been performing the oldies for 50 years.  In 1959 he formed “The Satellites”, Florida’s premier oldies band.  The Satellites received national Billboard attention in 1960 with their 45RPM recording “Moody”.  In the later years the band performed all over Florida opening and backing many of the national oldies acts including: The Drifters, The Coasters, The Diamonds, The Tokens, Frankie Ford, Ray Peterson, Bobby Lewis, Little Anthony & The Imperials, The Platters and more.  Jim performed in Las Vegas for six months during 2003.  He has  performed for the Elks, The Eagles, American Legion, Amvets, Moose Lodge, VFW, Sun City, Florida State Fair, country clubs and many more.  Jim performs the music you grew up with, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, classic rock, blues, standards, rockabilly, country, reggae, island and variety.  He performs with his guitar/bass, computer drums and great vocals.  Jim interacts with the audience and can please  any age group.
